Introduction

Research Council Faroe Islands offers funding for dissemination of scientific work relevant in a Faroese context.

Funding may be granted upon application for publications of peer reviewed scientific articles in Open access journals, first editions of books and theses promoting Faroese scientific work, and other relevant initiatives.

Funding may be granted to reimburse part of the cost for

- Open Access articles - maximum 8,000 DKK

- Books, theses, etc. - maximum 15,000 DKK and maximum 1/3 of the total printing cost

- Other initiatives - maximum 25,000 DKK

The funding is primarily intended for younger researchers, e.g. for PhD-students.

Granskingarráðið umsitur stuðulsskipan, har til ber at søkja um stuðul til útgávu av javnlíkamettum vísindagreinum í Open Access tíðarritum og til javnlíkamettar bøkur, sum monografiir, doktararitgerðir og greinasøvn.

Eisini ber til at søkja um stuðul til onnur serlig átøk.

- Til útgávu av vísindaligari grein í Open Access tíðarriti kann stuðulin í mesta lagi verða kr. 8.000.
- Til útgávu av bók, eitt nú ritgerðum og greinasøvnum, kann stuðulin í mesta lagi verða ein triðingur av prentkostnaðinum uttan mvg, tó ongantíð meira enn kr. 15.000 fyri hvørja útgávu.
- Stuðul til onnur serlig átøk kann í mesta lagi vera kr. 25.000.

Stuðulin er serliga ætlaður yngri granskarum, sum eru ávegis at fóta sær sum granskarar, t.d. við ph.d.-verkætlan. Í viðgerð av umsóknini verður mett um, hvussu útgávan mennir føroyskt vísindastarv, bæði í mun til kor hjá umsøkjara og týdningin av evninum.

  2. Payment receipt for Open Access article or
    Total budget including copy of printing offer and support from other sources (for books)
  3. Pre-print or final version of article in PDF (for articles). if link to published article is not provided, or
    Hard copy of book delivered to our office (for books)
